Our lodge is the proud owner of the oldest operating hydro generator in New Zealand and potentially the world! This eco-friendly, power generating device was manufactured by General Electric (GE) New York between 1899 and 1901 and enables the facilities to operate with a green footprint. We consider our environment to be our most valuable asset, and everyone strives to protect and appreciate it every day.
